FEATURED DOG: AMANDA
Meet Amanda, a senior American Pit Bull Terrier who is a nice balance of calm and quiet and energy, going for long walks and hikes. Adopting a senior dog like Amanda will be a great experience since she likes to nap most of the day, is crate-trained, goes to work with her foster, loves to ride in the car, and loves to go on walks. Give Amanda a Nylabone, and a cushy dog bed, and she will pretty much be entertained for hours. Amanda is petite, only 35 lbs, is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, is house-trained, and is just an all-around super dog. She did lose an eyeball due to animal cruelty in her past. Our vet has given her a great health report so she is now ready to start the next chapter of her life. We estimate Amanda to be 8-9 years young. The ideal home for Amanda would be one where she can be the super star without another dog or cat to take her spotlight. She is dog friendly and leash trained.
